• Contestant must be between the ages of 17 and 23 years and must be a High School Graduate prior to the State Competition in June of 2003.
• Phases of competition will be Formal Wear, Swimwear, Talent and Private Interview.
• Contestants must have a platform issue of community involvement that she will promote during her year of service should she win.

FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS 

All competitions will be held on the same day with activities beginning at 9:30 A.M.  All contestants will report to the auditorium at the school no later thatn 9:30 A.M. to begin rehearsal.  We ask that each contestant bring a cocktail dress or an evening pants outfit for the opening production number.  Interviews will begin after lunch break and will be held at the Allen Building located on Main Street in Winnfield.

The evening program will begin at 6:30 P.M. and an after pageant party will be held at the Pine Ridge Country Club in Winnfield.

The exact schedule will depend upon the number of contestants in each division.

Miss America Guidelines are used for the competition and scoring in the Miss and Teen Miss divisions.

Please note that until further notice the Teen Swimwear Competition requires a one-piece suit.

Competition and scoring for the Teen Princess division are by Teen Princess Louisiana - America guidelines.

DEADLINE INFORMATION

A deadline for the March pageant has not yet been established but will be soon.  A Fact Sheet may be obtained off of the Miss Louisiana website (Misslouisiana.com) as well as this site.  Please mail your completed fact sheet, photograph for the program, advertisement sales, registration and talent introduction to Shonna Moss, 410 West Main St., Winnfield, Louisiana 71483.  We look forward to having you become a part of our Governor City Family!!!

Please remember that advertising sales for the program are Essential to the awards that we are able to provide for the winners of each division.  They can also decrease or even erase the entry fee for the Teen and Princess Contestants.

Also, the deadline is very important as always, please get your information in as soon as possible.  A deadline has not yet been set at this time but will be shortly.  If we are able to accept a late entry, she will not be mentioned in the program.  We want everyone to enjoy their their experience with the Miss Governor City Louisiana Pageant!!!!
